About me
My approach to Psychology is to empower my clients with the skills to enable resilience and assist them in actualising their full potential in different stages of their development. I am passionate about neurodiversity and enjoy working with clients from a variety of different cultures, races, genders, ages, religions and backgrounds. I have experience working in many different contexts, including schools and NGO’s. My aim is to provide support for children and adolescents confronting a broad spectrum of challenges. These range from everyday personal development difficulties to concerns that require intensive interventions.
In practice, I make use of various therapeutic approaches, but primarily I work from a solution focused and systems-based approach, meaning I consider the interaction between the client’s family, school and social context when providing support. I also conduct Psycho-educational, career and subject choice assessments, in addition to therapy.
Many children and teenagers experience challenges in their development, whether it be social, emotional, cognitive or academic. It is important they know they do not need to struggle alone, and their worth is not defined by these challenges. If your child is struggling, please reach out and help them find the support they need to reach their potential.
